I tried probably about 10 other ways that I read about in Google searches and blue posts from the past. Pretty lame, but the only way I was able to play. Those are just like 6 examples of what I tried. I ended up having to go to the launcher-> game settings->starcraft 2 and check the Launch 32-bit client (instead of 64-bit) option. I tried same method, except closing client after disconnecting from internet. I tried those steps with the client initially opened, then close before disconnecting from internet. I tried those steps with and without the client open. I tried disconnecting internet and attempting to log in. I tried logging in, logging out, disconnecting internet, and logging in again. Save the change you made and re-launch StarCraft 2. Select the Additional command line arguments option and type -Displaymode 0 for StarCraft games you want to run in windowed mode. Im saying that blizzard should make some effort to stop map hacking before it starts for Starcraft 2, as opposed to doing absolutely nothing to prevent it as they did with Warcraft 3. Both of these situations do not reward players with points or Achievements (badges for having accomplished something). Or calling blizzard money grubbing assholes. Single player games can be played offline (not logged into ) or played online with cheats. Click the StarCraft 2 tab, select Options, and head to Game Settings. SC2 players are very competitive and trust Blizzard to prevent cheating or devaluing the achivement system.
